"Moka" coffees are so called because they were once exported from the port of Mocha to Yemen, the oldest port for coffee trade. This moka of noble and pure origin comes from the province of Sidamo, south of Ethiopia, renowned cradle of coffee. Coffee trees grow in the wild on highlands on volcanic ground with peaks, some of which peak at more than 4000m.
Origin: The Sidamo region owes its name to an ethnic group, the Sidamas, in the southwest of Ethiopia. The harvest is carried out in the province of Sidamo, south of Ethiopia, a famous cradle of coffee.
Characteristics : a gourmet coffee which leaves an impression of roundness and citrus. It is a fine and elegant coffee which persists in the mouth from its richness of aromas, and which positions it in the top 10 of the favorite cafes of connoisseurs.
