This set is made up of three pieces, the adjustable valve, a sealing sleeve, and the cone which must be enclosed on the valve with the sleeve.

Operation: the SBS distribution system with valve is adjustable through the knob on the facade and allows you to vary the water flow for the infusion (the flow rate increases or decreases depending on the position of the pommel).

This makes it possible to modify the coffee infusion time (extraction time) and, therefore,
the intensity of taste, while maintaining the constant cream.

When the SBS valve is in the open position, the coffee accumulates inside the membrane valve under the effect of a low counterfection of the SBS valve. Consequently, the pointe of the membrane valve remains in the maximum opening position under the effect of the resistance of the spring. Coffee comes out quickly (cf. fig. 1).

When the SBS valve is in a closed position, the coffee accumulates on the valve membrane and the pressure increases inside the valve. The spring is relaxing under the effect of the counterprint and the needle reduces the passage of coffee (cf. fig. 2).
