The claris pro Smart + filter cartridge contains in its lower end a layer of natural active ingredients which stabilize water in the tank and thus reduce limestone deposits to the bottom of it.

The system works without any energy or additional action: thanks to the natural displacement of water in the tank, it constantly crosses the layer of active ingredients. With its active coal composition, the Claris filter cartridge still uses the principle of the upward current. By exchange of ions, its upper part filters exactly the amount of water required to obtain a cup of perfect coffee.

Claris Smart Plus works according to the professional principle of the ascending current and filter precisely the amount of water necessary for the preparation of coffee. With their new revolutionary formula, filter cartridges are perfectly suitable for all the waters of the tap.

The pellets filter limestone to limit it to an always optimal level (even with little hard water) and reduce all harmful substances more effectively than ever. Mineral salts and fluorides, which play an important role of tasteful exhausters, are fully preserved. Thanks to the optimal limestone stabilization and the effective filtration of harmful substances, Claris provides maximum water quality for a perfect aroma coffee.

Automatic filter detection:
so that the filter and the coffee machine can dialogue, Jura uses RFID technology. The machine automatically detects the presence of a filter thanks to the intelligent water system (Intelligent Water System, I.W.S.®). She then goes on her own in filter mode and activates rinsing. When the filtration capacity arrives at its end, the coffee machine indicates that it will soon be necessary to replace the filter. If this is not the case, the machine activates the determination mode. It then requires descaling after the corresponding duration of use. And to perform this operation, the filter must be removed. Thus, manipulation errors resulting from understanding problems belong definitively to the past.
